Position Description:

The Agilent IT Networks organization is hiring a Networks Operations Manager to help lead the cost effective delivery of the company's networked voice and data services. This position will be located in either Santa Clara or Colorado Springs.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering high quality, cost effective enterprise voice and data services to a globally distributed organization. Agilent IT operates in a model where we retain architecture, service management and vendor management. Day to Day delivery of projects and the running of the environment is handled by world class IT partners. The ability to obtain excellent operational performance and results in this model is essential to being successful in this role.

In addition to ensuring network availability and performance, you will work closely with the IT Executive staff and decision makers in order to identify, recommend, develop and implement cost-effective global technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.

Qualifications:

Educated to at least university degree level, and with 9+ years' IT experience, 3 of which will have been at a similar level, you're now eager to put your strong management skills to work in a dynamic and progressive environment. Additionally, a track record of success managing a large corporate or government IT network is desired.
