Description:
Life Application Processing
Initial review and data entry
Knowledge of life insurance products
Follow-up on underwriting requirements
Underwriting appeals
Contract changes
Client correspondence
Accounting
Input policy payments into accounting system
Refund processing
Daily accounts reconciliation
Cash and check handling
Accounting variance reporting
Final Case Disposition
Prepare, assemble policy and determine delivery requirements for agent
Document scanning and storage
Administration and Service
Maintain and order office supplies
Manage switchboard operation
Effectively communicate with agents, clients and the Home Office
Provide customer service to agents, management team and policyowners
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years related clerical experience
College degree preferred
Exceptional interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail
Ability to multitask and set priorities
Detail oriented with strong follow-up skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and the ability to learn in-house systems
