About the Job
Job Purpose:
Builds sales by developing dealer and distributor programs; processing orders.
Duties:
* Maintains relations with dealers by providing support with merchandising, orders, deliveries, advertising, promotions, and training.
* Obtains orders by explaining product benefits; finding ways to enhance floor space; reviewing business plans; analyzing sales volume; introducing new products; relays order to sales desk.
* Merchandises product by establishing floor displays; obtaining prominent positioning; providing sales and promotion materials; reviewing mailing lists.
* Promotes product by developing discounts, seasonal offers, and other specific inducements.
* Expands business by opening new accounts.
* Informs management by completing reports; forwarding information on competitors.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
* Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
