New England Regional Manager - Commercial Sales

About the Job

Summary: Plan, organize, motivate and control commercial sales within assigned area.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

1.                  Develop and execute annual Business and Sales Growth Plan.

2.                  Build and orchestrate a balanced dealer base in region.

3.                  Analyze the progress of the Business Plan weekly with sales team.  Make necessary adjustments.

4.                  Organize, direct and coordinate all of the sales efforts in the region to assure that TRACO products are specified and that relationships are built with dealers, architects and other buying influences.

5.                  Coach, counsel and gain the confidence and respect of the Sales  and Architectural Consultants.

6.                  Hire, develop and implement training of each Team Member to ensure that all functions are performed within the overall company guidelines and in harmony with the Regional Business Plan.

Qualifications:  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

 

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BA) from four-year college or university.  Ten (10) years experience in windows or related field.

 

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents.  Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.  Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.  Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

 

Mathematical Skills: Ability to work mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

 

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
