New York/New Jersey: Account Manager: Therakos, Inc. a Johnson & Johnson Medical Device Company

THERAKOS, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for an Account Manager to cover the New Jersey, New York City and the boroughs.
The THERAKOS UVAR XTS System is the most advanced and innovative technology used to treat cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL). The Fluid Logic Controller and Module, which is the heart of the System, was designed and continues to be manufactured by DEKA. It utilizes DEKA's patented FMS Technology to measure, move, pump, and route fluid throughout the System.
The role of the Account Manager is to attain quarterly and yearly sales goals by actively promoting the technology of photomedicine to establish new accounts and ensure customer satisfaction in all existing accounts. Each accounts business will be supported by a coordinated program of assisting with patient referrals, as well as maintaining appropriate reimbursement levels while promoting the technology to all levels of administration and relevant medical specialties.
The Account Manager will also be responsible for achieving sales goals as provided by the Sales Director. They will also monitor therapy center programs with emphasis on customer satisfaction, efficacy of treatment, proper reimbursement, patient referral, instrument operation and inventory control. It will be the Account Managers responsibility to coordinate therapy in-service and perform first day of in-service program. Additionally, they will monitor returned goods in territory by evaluating problems and working with customer service to ensure proper returned goods authorization. They will become well versed in reimbursement and actively interact with accounts reimbursement department. They must be familiar with key personnel, appropriate paperwork and its routing through accounts. They will operate territory business within a given expense budgetary limit and submit all written and electronically transmitted reports in a timely manner. They may also be asked to assist in sales training, vacant territory coverage and in-service training.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: Undergraduate degree required; Life Science or Science background preferred. Three to Five years of sales experience is required. Five + years of sales experience is preferred. You will need to demonstrate a record of accomplishments. Biopharmaceutical and/or Medical capital equipment sales experience preferred.
