Newspaper Home Delivery Management, Part Time District Manager

The Akron Beacon Journal is seeking a dependable, responsible, self-motivated individual to work as a part time District Manager. Duties include supervision of independent contractor newspaper carriers, distribution center management, and customer service resolution. This position involves physical activity, including staging of product and door-to-door delivery of newspapers. Previous management skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office a plus.

The successful candidate must be available to work flexible early morning hours (2 a.m. until 11 a.m.), including weekends.

A drug screen test/background check is mandatory, along with a valid drivers license and proof of insurance.
