The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in obtaining and/or managing government, corporate,  and foundation grants for a human service or related nonprofit organization.  Strong ability to produce a high volume of work, think strategically, conduct research, develop programs and logic models, and manage multiple deadlines desire.   Must be an excellent project manager who has professional poise and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.  Must work well both independently and collaboratively.  Successful candidates will be extremely attentive to detail and be comfortable with a heavy work load. 

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
Bachelor's degree with two or more years of experience in non-profit environment, or a combination of education and experience which is similarly equivalent.

Excellent writing, critical thinking, and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet internal and external deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal skills to function effectively in our team-oriented environment.

Ability to collect and evaluate data regarding service needs, present services and service gaps, and through such an evaluation, develop needs statements to both direct and support agency services.

General understanding of database systems.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
