RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage audits, reviews, and compilations from planning to completion
  • Provide timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations
  • Anticipate and address client needs
  • Build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments, and technical authorities
  • Manage and develop client relationships
  • Conduct effective meetings with management and Board of Directors to discuss audit planning and financial results
  • Manage audit staff assigned to engagements and review work paper files
  • Develop and mentor staff through training and effective performance feedback
  • Market firm services to prospective clients
  • Provide fee quotes and billings
  • Manage scheduling and load balancing for engagements
  • Draft major proposals and bids

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Public Accounting working in an audit role with an emphasis in nonprofit audit and accounting
  • Solid understanding of audit and attest services with knowledge of FASB regulations and GAAP, including A-133
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university
  • Ability to travel
  • Licensed CPA
  • Ability to meet challenging client requirements, provide excellent client service, and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities
