THE OPPORTUNITY: As their North American Parts Manager you will be responsible for overall management of their Service Parts business with particular emphasis on strategic planning to increase top line sales and bottom line profit. Service Parts represents about $70M dollars in annual sales and is among the companies highest margin product families. You will mentor and supervise 30 people through three direct supervisory reports. These include an Inventory Control Supervisor, Warehouse Supervisor, Call Center Supervisor and 30 indirect warehouse and call center employees. You will work closely with Product Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Marketing, Finance and SAP Business Analysts. Key responsibilities include development of dealer programs and call center campaigns; tracking inventory and sales trends; annual strategic planning; dealer support and warehousing and logistical management of their Minnesota based warehouse operation. The position reports to the General Manager of Aftermarket Operations.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE:
· Managerial experience in parts aftermarket supporting motorized equipment
· Strong business acumen and history of growing businesses
· Interest in general management of a business that fosters strong dealer relationships
· Good working knowledge of SAP, Excel, Word
· Four-year degree in business, engineering or supply chain
