Our mission is to meet the individual needs and specific situations of our clients by customizing our services. We are currently seeking Witness Closer (Notary) in the Kansas City area.

The Witness Closer facilitates real estate purchase and refinance closings, working closely with internal Escrow Account Managers and external clients to receive all necessary closing documents and schedule closings. The Witness Closer will perform the closings of the settlement documents, notarize the documents and return them to the appropriate parties. The individual in this position must have excellent communication skills to provide outstanding service to our clients, internal Escrow Account Managers and their clients.

The schedule for the Witness Closer may vary from week to week, depending on order volume. The tentative schedule is 10:00 am to 4:30 pm; some evening and weekend work may occasionally be required. Benefits are available if 30+ hours per week are consistently worked. 

Candidates for this position must possess the following:

• 2+ years experience in the title or mortgage industry
  
• 1+ years experience as a closing or loan processor
  
• Previous experience as a closing officer is preferred
  
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations
  
• Knowledge of legal documents, local escrow procedures and terminology
  
• Understanding of the purpose of title insurance and related services
  
• High School diploma or equivalent is required; Associates degree is preferred

Additionally, candidates must be able to maintain composure in times of stress or interaction with difficult clients, have demonstrated problem-solving skills and be able to work autonomously. The individual hired for this position must either have or obtain licensure with the Department of Insurance and must be a current licensed Notary.
