Novell OES2 / GroupWise 8 Engineer

Capstone Corporation is currently seeking talented and customer service oriented individuals to serve as Novell OES2 / GroupWise 8 Engineer at our client site in College Park, MD. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establishes state-of-the-art techniques for designing, developing, modifying and implementing system engineering of Novell OES, eDirectory, GroupWise, other Novell technologies, infrastructure, and related hardware for clients.
• Deliver high-quality solutions to our client to ensure their investment in technology is consistent with their business objectives.
• Works independently on projects which require advanced, concentrated and diverse knowledge of technology and engineering principles.
• Works in a team environment collaborative with managers, leads, coworkers and subordinates.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Bachelor's Degree required, or 4 additional years of relevant experience in substitute of a Bachelor's Degree.

·       10+ Years' experience in all phases of system engineering

·       Requires knowledge in Novell OES2, GroupWise 8, Clustering and SAN technologies

·       Demonstrates successful participation in directory services and email migrations, preferably GroupWise 6.5 to 8 and Netware 6.5 to OES.

·       Process oriented with strong communication and documentation skills.

·       Project oriented for deadlines and deliverables, yet flexible to common project schedule obstacles.

·       Experience in consolidation of services from 25+ sites to at least 2 data centers desired.

·       Federal Government Contracting experience strongly desired.

PAY RANGE:

• $105,000-120,000 per year
