SRA International has multiple openings for a Nurse Clinical Information Researcher on our VAERS project. VAERS is a post-marketing safety surveillance program, collecting information about adverse events that occur after the administration of U.S. licensed vaccines.
• Perform daily triage and assignment of VAERS reports • Review medical records and complete medical abstract • Perform medical coding of reviewed medical records • Quality Control review of medical coding
Bachelors
• Utilization Review Quality Assurance or Medical Case Management experience • 1 year Clinical Nursing experience • Medical abstracting experience preferred • Microsoft Office Suite • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Medical Coding experience (ICD-9, CPT-4)
