Mountain View Care Center for Geriatric Psychiatry is seeking a qualified Director of Nursing to lead the clinical nursing team.  Mountain View Care Center is a 12 bed acute Geriatric Psychiatric Hospital and is the leading geriatric hospital in the Magic Valley (South Central Idaho) and is part of a family of long-term care, rehabilitative and alzheimer care centers throughout the Magic Valley. 

The Director of Nursing is responsible to provide supervision for nursing staff, evaluate psychiatric nursing care of patients, management of the therapeutic milieu, provide mandatory and voluntary in-service training for all staff, quality control, infection control, orientation programming for new employees and current nursing staff and mental health workers that review individualized treatment interventions, ensure regulatory compliance, maintains adherence to company policy and procedures and ensures patient and family satisfaction with the treatment process. 

Successful candidate will have a Master's Degree in Psychiatric Nursing (preferred) or a Bachelor degree in nursing with documented clinical and collegiate course work in psychiatry.
