This position is with one of the most widely respected and well known acute care hospitals in the region.  At nearly 700 beds they have been offering a full range of services to the community for almost 100 years.  They pride themselves on being at the fore front of technology and employing some of the leaders in today's healthcare.

Currently this facility is looking for a Nurse Manager for their Burn center.

Burn Manager:  
  • ICU: 6 beds
  • Progressive: 7 beds
  • 35 FTE’s
  • ICU sees critical burns and MSICU overflow
  • Progressive sees burns in “good” condition
  • 2:1 nurse to patient ration in ICU
  • 7:1 nurse to patient ration in Progressive plus 1 tech
  • “Tank”/Wound Care sees approximately 15-30 patients a day
  • "Tank”/Wound Care is staffed 1 nurse per 8 patient visits
  • ONLY burn unit in the area


Selling Points:

  • See patients from other states
  • Great MSICU experience too


Candidates must have burn experience in ICU or trauma and management experience.  This is an incredible opportunity to take a major step in a career Nursing Leadership.
