Our clients hospital, completed in November 1993, has 100+ acute care beds and occupies 114,000 square feet and houses some of the 70+ physicians in our multi-specialty group. The hospital has 100 acute-care beds, serving medical, surgical, orthopaedic, pediatric, intensive care and obstetrical patients. A walk-in care service operates in conjunction with the emergency room. They are a not for profit hospital that offers comprehensive health care with more than 80 providers, a 24-hour emergency room, home care and hospice services, as well as multiple clinic locations in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.

They are searching for a world class NP with a passion for gastroenterology! They will consider candidates with primary care clinical expereince and new grads potentially.

The selected candidate Work in collaboration with physicians and other providers to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate health care for gastroenterology patients in the clinic setting.  Order and interpret appropriate lab, x-ray and special studies.  Perform office studies.  Establish a working diagnosis based upon acquired data and develop a treatment plan for GI conditions in accordance with current clinic practice and in conjunction with the physician.  Exercise judgment on condition requiring consultation, referral or evaluation by the supervising physician or other healthcare professionals

Must be a Registered Nurse and APNP (Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner) in state of Wisconsin, or licensure eligible;  ACNP with 2-5 years previous gastroenterology or primary care clinical experience preferred;  BLS certified;  Ability to make responsible decisions within the scope of license.
