JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

JOB TITLE:         NURSE PRACTITIONER

SALARY:              COMMENSURATE WITH TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

Reports to the Medical Director. Works in coordination with members of the medical team to provide selected supervised patient services. Assesses and evaluates nursing care provided by team members. Develops high-quality nursing intervention for the individual patient and/or patients and/or family. Makes physical appraisal and thorough assessments on health care needs. Plans and administers nursing care which strives to match her skill level. Does anticipatory guidance and health counseling. Requires use of independent judgment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a current license; 2-3 years of experience preferred. A registered nurse who has completed a formal nurse practitioner educational program. At least two years supervisory experience. Current nurses registration by Georgia Board of Nursing. Bilingual a plus.
