We are in need of a Nurse Practitioner for North Shore Medical Center (Acute Pain Management), which includes both Salem Hospital in Salem and Union Hospital in Lynn.

Duties would include but are not limited to:

•Working closely with physicians from the Department of Anesthesia to optimize post-operative and acute pain management
•Day to day pain management of post-operative surgical patients
•Providing Patient and Nursing liaison and educational support for acute pain management
•Assisting physicians from the department of anesthesiology in the placement, documentation and follow-up of regional anesthetic techniques for post-operative pain management such as continuous femoral and epidural catheters
•Responsibility for data collection and design on measures and metrics surrounding quality assurance and patient satisfaction
