Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.)  32 hr/wk, 3p-11p, every other weekend

The Certified Nursing Assistant at Mid Coast Senior Health Center provides general nursing care to residents under the direction of an RN or LPN.  C.N.A. services include meeting the needs of residents in the area of hygiene, rehabilitation, activities and environmental asepsis.  The C.N.A. functions within the guidelines set forth by state certification, federal and state regulations and in accordance with the policies and procedures of Mid Coast Senior Health Center.  The CAN is a pivotal and vital member of the team in meeting patient needs and supporting the care of patients.

Skills Required:  High School Diploma & Maine CAN Certification and Current Registry
