We serve as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at ECU. PCMH provides acute, intermediate, rehabilitation and outpatient services to more than 1.2 million people in 29 counties. We currently have a Nutrition Support Dietitian vacancy for our fast-paced acute care medical setting. The individual is responsible for delivering direct, quality patient care, utilizing an intermediate-advanced clinical skill level and knowledge base. Plan and deliver intermediate-advanced level nutritional care of patients throughout the life cycle in accordance with physicians' diagnoses and requirements of regulatory agencies. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team to develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate patients nutritional care plans. A Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition or a related field is required. A Master of Science degree in Nutrition or a related field is preferred. Must have a Registered Dietitian status with the American Dietetic Assoc and licensed dietitian/nutritionist status with the NC Board of Dietetics/Nutrition. Registration involving 75 hours of education every 5 years for maintenance of certification required. Two to three years of experience practicum, field training or internship required.
