OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS

The VA NJ Healthcare System draws on the united capabilities of its East Orange and Lyons Campuses as well as their community-based satellites to offer seamless medical assistance.  Our Lyons campus is seeking a FT Occupational Therapist and a Per-Diem  Occupational Therapist.

The Occupational Therapist provides evaluation and treatment that promotes the prevention, remediation, and rehabilitation of acute and chronic physical and psychosocial dysfunction based on functional goals formulated during the evaluation process. The duties and responsibilities of this position are carried out throughout the VA New Jersey Health Care System including various clinical, and patient care areas associated with PM&RS, as assigned and dictated by workload requirements.

All candidates must be U.S. Citizens.  Candidates must also possess a Graduate Degree program in OT approved by ACOTE as well as passed the entry-level certification examination for OTs given by NBCOT.
