OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Medical Experts of Texas is private physician-owned company which provides physicians and nurse practitioners to serve a broad-spectrum of hospitals and medical practices, and also other management services to physicians and their practices. Our administrative center is in Lewisville, and we serve multiple facilities in the Denton area as well as facilities in other states. We are a small but growing business, and seeking someone to join the team as the administrative ‘anchor’ - so that we can grow better and faster!
Responsibilities
1. Manages all incoming calls and visitors during office hours: the “go-to person” for office administrative matters.
2. Administers accounts payable and receivable.
3. Tracks and actions all messages received at offices and at Answering Service.
4. Maintains all office files and databases.
5. Handles, processes and manages incoming and outgoing mail.
6. Schedules appointments, meetings and travel for company staff and guests as assigned.
7. Tracks office supply inventory and approves supply orders.
8. Assists in the preparation and tracking of budgets and expenses.
9. Undertakes projects as assigned to continually improve efficiencies and build the business.
Skills
1. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
2. Detail oriented; works with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.
3. Highly organized and willing and able to handle the flexible and changing requirements in a small, fast-moving medical services company.
4. Ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines.
5. Must be self directed and able to complete basic projects with limited supervision.
6. Maintains strict company and patient confidentiality; adheres to company and HIPPA compliance requirements.
7. Working knowledge of PC and computer productivity software including email, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications/Requirements
1. Minimum 4 years or more independent office administration or supervisory experience; medical field preferred.
2. Minimum High School Diploma, Associates Degree preferred.
Compensation
1. Salary $27-$35K.
2. Group health, dental, and vision insurance eligibility.
3. 3 weeks paid time off (PTO) accrued annually.
