Global manufacturer of welded industrial fabricated components is seeking a OPERATIONS MANAGER for their live custom order product group. The opportunity will be based in West Central New York . This is a growth oriented role that will be involved with live order product manufacturing and assembly. This role has growth potential to move into Senior Operations Management in the very near future.
This role will oversee the custom live order group to stream line processes and drive Lean and continuous improvement. The role will work with front line supervisors to ensure safety, production, on time delivery, and quality standards are met. This role will have a strong focus on production scheduling and planning.
To be considered we are looking for candidates that meet the following criteria:
1) Must have minimum of Bachelors Degree in business, technical, or operations
2) Must be currently living in West Central New York State
3) 5+ years of scheculing and operations planning
4) Must have experience working with an engineered prouct an assembled to order environment
5) Prefer candidates that have had union exposure
6) Preference to candidates with Lean Manufacturing concepts and 5 S work concepts
7) Preference to candidates that understand AS400
