Role: Core Oracle DBA

Location: Walnut Creek, CA (Prefer local consultants as client wants a in-person interview)

Duration: 3 months Contract-to-Hire

Start Date: Immediate

Rate: $$ all incl on W2/C2C

Core DBA:

*         Oracle 10g/9i experience

*         Oracle RAC experience

*         DBA fundamentals

*         DBA design

*         Troubleshooting

*         Performance tuning

*         Database configuration

*         Preferred exp 8-9 years

Other notes:

Sr. Oracle DBA must have experience with oracle Rack, data guard, oracle 9i, 10g, prod support 24/7 (30% development support) must have 8 years experience as DBA. Candidates must come from large DB and large customer DB background. Managing small DB's is not good enough. All work is on Solaris. The candidate must come with strong communication skills and must be familiar with db tuning, performance tuning, etc.

The client prefers LOCAL consultants only as it involves in-person interview

Oracle 10g CERTIFICATION is a MUST
