A generationE Solution Engineer will support pre-sales solution design and architecture efforts aimed at using the  generationE Reference Architecture to solve real world customer challenges.  The Solution Engineer will, when required, perform product demos, interact directly with the client to gather requirements, and facilitate strategy sessions aimed at flushing out problem statements and solution approaches.  The Solution Engineer will participate in RFP and proposal efforts when requested.

Desired Characteristics:

   Strong functional and technical knowledge of OSS and IT Service Management solutions from the major software vendors: IBM Tivoli, HP Openview, CA, BMC, etc.



• 
  

  Experience with IBM Tivoli Netcool solutions is a plus 



• 
  

  Experience with designing, positioning, and evangelizing solutions to  a customer via direct interactions.

  Excellent oral and written communications.
