We are looking for an OTC Derivatives Operations Representative for our Midtown Manhattan, NYC location. 

 

Responsibilities Include:

·         Managing our clients OTC trade support and settlements process

·         Providing ongoing and daily OTC derivatives operations processing support to client(s) across all aspects of the derivatives trade lifecycle – trade support, settlements, collateral management, reconciliations, and documentation

·         Completing daily, weekly, and month-end assigned tasks and reviewing work product of staff

·         Building and maintaining client and counterparty relationships

·         Interacting with the greater OTC Derivatives, fund accounting and valuations teams

·         Serving as a first point of contact to internal and external client queries and ad-hoc requests

·        Documenting operational processes and improving controls within the OTC client service team

·        Utilizing DTCC/Deriv Serv and other electronic matching services

·        Training OTC Derivatives staff


Knowledge and Skills Desired:

·        Bachelors degree in Finance or related field

·         4+ years experience in OTC operations in a front/middle office capacity

·         Experience dealing with various OTC products including interest rate, credit, equity and/or FX derivatives

·         Solid understanding of financial markets and the role of the various intermediaries 

·         Extensive MS Excel knowledge 

·         Solid analytical skills

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         Proven client service skills
