Description:
Are you an experienced Occupational Health Nurse looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Volt is currently seeking an experienced RN for a well established manufacturer located in Horicon, WI. As the Occupational Health Nurse you will provide prompt and appropriate primary care of occupational injuries and illnesses. You will also be responsible for maintaining confidential employee health records, document information and notes utilizing the Medgate Program, assist with the planning, execution and review of health related policies and procedures, assist with medical testing, health surveillance and evaluations of factory employees to meet federal and state regulations and corporate guidelines. You will also be very involved with the administration of the respiratory protection program, assist with evaluating employee health and developing strategies to improve health and productivity by providing health promotion interventions such as education, material, presentations, screenings and health fairs, as well as coordinating the hearing conservation program and completion of audiometric testing. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse looking to be a part of a stable and growing company.
This is a second shift, Monday - Friday position. Full time hours for training. After training the hours will be part time for the first two months, then go to full time.


Requirements:
Must be licensed and registered by the State of Wisconsin as a registered nurse. LPNs, Occupational Therapists, and other medical professionals will not be considered for this opportunity. Employee must have a minimum of three years of acute care experience. Experience as an Occupational Health Nurse is strongly preferred. Must have experience with hearing conservation programs and audiometric testing.
