Richmond Community Services, a Westchester-based, nonprofit organization, has been supporting people and their families with developmental disabilities since 1973. We are currently seeking an Occupation Therapist to provide a comprehensive program for people with developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medically prescribed occupational therapy and creating programs for individuals to maintain and/or restore function secondary to acute or chronic disability.
This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and a New York State Occupational Therapy license. Previous experience working with the Developmentally Disabled population and reliable transportation for local travel is highly preferred. The ideal candidate must also have solid communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to work some flexible hours and/or days.
