Baylor Health Care System is a not-for-profit, faith-based healthcare system with many care locations in the Dallas-Ft. Worth community.
Occupational Therapist
At Baylor Health Care System, occupational therapists help people improve their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments. A career at Baylor brings you into contact with a variety of patients, allowing you to positively impact patient success.
Occupational therapists work in inpatient, outpatient and acute care settings, evaluating, planning and implementing therapeutic programs. Our occupational therapists are proud to be part of a tight multidisciplinary team. Physicians, nurses and other clinicians collaborate daily with our OTs in an environment of mutual respect and appreciation.
OTs are part of Baylor Rehabilitation Services, which demonstrates our highest level of excellence. For example, Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation, in collaboration with the University of Texas Southwestern, is one of 16 traumatic brain injury Model System sites in the U.S. Also, Baylor University Medical Center boasts North Central Texas’ only JCAHO-certified stroke center and conducts ongoing spinal cord injury research.
OTs just beginning their careers come to Baylor from schools across the country because we offer them experienced mentors and a variety of settings and specialties in which to gain top-notch career experience. More experienced OTs appreciate our career ladder and support for continuing education.
We have career opportunities available for occupational therapists of all levels on all shifts, including Two-Day Alternative, weekdays and PRN, and at all of our system hospitals and our rehabilitation facilities.
