OFFICE ASSISTANT: Locally (West St. Louis County) owned manufacturing company seeks experienced individual to fill full time office position available mid November. Primary duty includes all logistics of customer orders and shipping. Position requires assisting plant manager coordinating all facets of customer service, shipping procedures, purchase orders, various record keeping of time sensitive information, standardized reports, various administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal communication skills along with the ability to multi-task and work with frequent interruptions. Preferred candidate must have at least 5 years experience with Computers, Internet and Microsoft Office programs. (knowledge of integrated manufacturing software is considered a plus).
Location: Maryland Heights, MO. Hours: Day M-F, 7:30-4:00 Compensation: hourly rate commensurate with experience. Starting range is $12.00-$14.00/hr. Benefits: paid vacation and 100% employee health insurance.
