We have an opportunity within our Government Affairs group for an Office Manager based in Washington D.C.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast paced environment and perform a wide variety of administrative functions, along with the ability to interact and work as a team on a professional level with internal and external clients.
Essential Functions:
Provide administrative support, including scheduling and travel arrangements, to the Vice-President of Government Affairs and additional members of the staff
Maintain confidentiality of matters and issues within the department
Perform office management responsibilities including invoice processing and maintaining the financial records of the department
Establish and maintain informational databases
Prepare and file as necessary lobbying and political action committee reports
Maintain files as directed and in accordance with company policies
Qualifications/Competencies:
Associate's degree preferred
Minimum of ten years experience in an administrative support role within a legal, communications, government affairs department or similar professional environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
Self-starter with the ability to multi-task
