Summary of Position


Greet all visitors immediately in person or via the phone in a courteous, friendly, business-like manner and support all departments work flow as needed. Support the corporate office with supplies and services.


major areas of accountability



  • Perform some HR administrative tasks.

  • Responsible for purchasing all company office supplies, including computer supplies.

  • Maintain current office supply catalogs and price list, request quantity and best pricing from vendors, place and receive orders and approve all invoices for payment.

  • Keep orderly, neat and well-stocked supply room and reception area.

·Support all departments and stores with word processing and project requests


·Oversee all outgoing corporate mail and the processing of incoming mail -batching all orders received daily for Customer Service data entry


·Supervise maintenance of all office machines including scheduling of service, repairs, general.


·Responsible for company cabin, ie: maintenance, scheduling, bills, etc.


·Responsible for administration of door security card system.



  • Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously, determine purpose of call, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department in the company.

  • Welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel.  Monitors visitor access and issues passes when required

  • Tracks the “seeds report” as distributed from the retail stores.

·May perform other duties as assigned.


requirements for position


·         Must be proficient with use of personal computer and have excellent working knowledge of the most current PC software; Excel and Word.


·         Use correct judgment for door card processes to keep building secure at all times.



  • Purchasing decisions based on best value and price can save company significant amounts of money when purchasing supplies.

·         Quick response in coordinating fax and copy machine repair will keep machine down time to a minimum.


·         Must be flexible and able to quickly change tasks and assignments with changing priorities.
