Dedicated On-Site Manager - Macon, GA

 Arnold Transportation Services, a leader in the truckload transportation industry, currently has an opening for a Dedicated On-Site Manager to help support its dedicated Kohl’s operation in Macon, GA.  Prior experience using an AS400 based computer system and/or Qualcomm experience is helpful but not required.  The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of transportation/logistics experience.  Responsibilities would include booking loads, scheduling all spotting activity, monitoring load movement and tracking and updating on-time service. 

Qualifications:

·         Must be goal oriented and have sound reasoning

·         Must have a strong understanding of dispatch procedures, especially as it relates to the

            drivers hours, and tractor movement

·         Must have strong customer service commitment

·         Must be very detail oriented

·         Must have the ability to work multiple tasks

·         Must have great interpersonal and listening skills

·         Must be able to make tough decisions based on facts, rather than opinion

·         Must be flexible to work variable hours as needed

·         Ability to respond with a sense of urgency
