Oncology Certified Nurse/Case Manager

This acute care, not-for-profit, community hospital is dedicated to their patients.  The hospital is located approximately 1 hour North of Watertown, NY.
 

The successful candidate will plan, organize, administer and evaluate individualized, professional nursing care for patients within a NEWLY created medical oncology practice/infusion service department, in accordance with the hospital’s policies and procedures and the Nurse Practice Act. The candidate will maintain the standard of nursing care as established by the Oncology Nursing Society and the Infusion Nurses Society.  The candidate will assist the oncologist with medical office visits and patient flow.  The hospital offers EXCELLENT SALARY AND SIGN ON BONUS!

EDUCATION,TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:

BSN required. Oncology Certification (OCN) required.  Current NYS license and current RN registration required. BLS required.   MS prepared Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist (OCNS) preferred.   Managerial experience preferred.   Minimum of five years Oncology clinical experience preferred.
