Bucknuts Media is a growing and progressive company that owns five premium college and high school sports web sites. This includes Bucknuts.com, SpartanTailgate.com, NittanyNetwork.com, ScoutingOhio.com, and JJHuddle.com.

The perfect candidate will be a sports fan; and keeping up with the latest in the online marketing world; thrive on utilizing their creative talents; and will value excellence in everything they do. 

Working with our internal team, the Online Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing online marketing programs for all websites, in addition to a wide array of responsibilities:

Job Description:

Managing and executing marketing campaigns with advertisers

Utilizing Google Ad Manager to manage internet advertising

Establishing and implementing internal marketing campaigns

Analyzing campaign results and developing ongoing strategy

Maintaining ongoing communications with customers and advertisers

Monitoring client-competitor online marketing and website initiatives

Gathering industry research for marketing strategy development and optimization

Developing and maintaining media kits for each web site

Using and understanding web analytics utilizing Google analytics

Troubleshooting problems with customer accounts and overseeing customer service

Working with IT developers to execute new program initiatives

The ideal candidate has:

A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field

At least 2 years of successful online marketing, advertising experience 

Familiarity with social media marketing  

Copy writing experience

Great initiative, is highly motivated with a continued willingness to develop new skills

An understanding of our customers, and the factors that impact their overall online experience

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (proposals, business communication, marketing writing)

Enthusiasm for exceeding expectations and strong relationship-building skills

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Ability to understand complex problems and suggest solutions

A high level of competence with MS Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point

Extensive knowledge of the Internet, research tools, search engines and browsers
