ABOUT COMPANY:
A successful and fast growing spirits company is looking for an Online Marketing Manager for its most high profile brand. The company is based in Miami, FL with additional operations in Europe. The core target market is urban with a general market crossover. The Company is looking for a creative, experienced online brand marketer with excellent communication skills, strong project management capabilities, an entrepreneurial spirit, and an outstanding attention to detail.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Online Marketing Manager will design and implement all online marketing, promotional, and public relations campaigns to enhance the brand identity and awareness of Conjure and drive product purchases. Additionally, the Online Marketing Manager shall coordinate all online marketing activities with the offline marketing activities overseen by the Director of Marketing and shall provide support to the Director of Marketing in marketing, public relations, and brand initiatives. The Online Marketing Manager’s responsibilities include developing and managing the look and feel of the web site, overseeing production of key digital creative elements, creating and maintaining brand message points for online distribution (e.g., Twitter, Facebook), and delivering online research and insights pertaining to the core and non-core target markets. Additionally, he/she shall manage relationships with online marketing agencies and or any third party digital vendors as needed. Online Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Marketing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform research and analysis to guide brand development online
- Macro trends affecting brand interface online
- Competitive Analysis
- Strategic Analysis of Opportunities
- Map core- and non-core target audiences online
- Lead development and implementation of online marketing strategy and action plan (e.g., how, when, and where to interface with core- and non-core target consumers); increase brand presence online through content production and distribution, search optimization, and other tactics
- Produce online content and provide regular updates via established and innovative channels (e.g., news, events, pictures, video, social media updates)
- Source, qualify, and manage all digital media partners and vendors (e.g., web developers)
- Support development of Brand Messaging and Communication Materials (including press releases) for trade and consumer programs both on- and offline
- Oversee and manage Creative Conceptualization and Development of the web site and online marketing campaigns (e.g., ideation, layout, copy)
- Drive design, development, and planning of all aspects of Online Promotions Programs
- Communication Responsibilities
- Participate in regularly scheduled Team meetings within and across departments
- Monitor, maintain, and report key performance data of online marketing initiatives
- Additional Responsibilities
- Assist management of the company in other activities as they arise reflecting the entrepreneurial spirit of the venture
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree in marketing, communications, or related field; Masters Degree preferred
- 5+ years in CPG/brand marketing is a MUST; prefer spirits/wine experience
- 3 years of online marketing experience minimum
- Extensive experience developing and managing online marketing programs
- Demonstrated expertise in research and analysis
- Knowledge of online marketing trends and tactics (e.g., SEO, social media)
- Understanding of web content development
- Proven experience creating and managing online content
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal and visual)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Confident, strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Highly self motivated, able to work with autonomy and proactively; outstanding follow-through
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond quickly to demanding situations
- Willingness to work very flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- High level of professionalism mandatory
- Experience marketing to urban audiences strongly preferred
