Position Summary
The Online Segment Manager augments the program effectiveness of products and services for Retail Channels Private Label, TranSource and Direct markets product lines by providing eCommerce and marketing industry subject matter expertise, especially around strong user experience skills, eCommerce best practices, Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Marketing and traditional printing technologies. The Online Segment Manager consults with sales, client management, product development and marketing to ensure complete coordination of online opportunities.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
Serves as the internal and external subject matter expert to include support and client presentations, ongoing communications, and advertising and promotions of assigned products and programs.
Work closely with Marketing and eCommerce leads to develop and implement content promotions, marketing communications, and special projects to drive sales. Effectively merchandise products in categories, collections and on landing pages that creates a positive brand experience.
Ensure new products and user experiences are set-up on time and merchandised according to analytics, testing data and relevant strategies. Guide SEM/SEO initiatives in coordination with Media and eCommerce teams.
Drive visitor volume, sales, AOV and conversion through management of marketing and merchandising strategies.
Review search data and optimize site search to merchandise search results. Create relevant reporting and analysis to read and communicate online business trends. Conduct regular competitive analyses to identify best practices and recommended action items.

Experience / Skills / Abilities Required
Requires 7-10 years of professional experience in product/program management or marketing with a minimum of 4 years eCommerce experience, including strong targeting/segmentation, user experience and SEM/SEO skills. Background in online retail marketing, required.
Requires extensive knowledge of eCommerce Marketing principles and practices.
Requires ability to translate core business strategies and organizational needs into actionable marketing initiatives.
Requires ability to quantify and qualify the impact of marketing efforts by forecasting performance, measuring efforts, and providing recommendations based on data.
Requires ability to express ideas clearly both verbally and in writing.
Requires strong presentation skills.
