Job Description:

 

The US Online Marketing Specialist is a key role within the Acquisition department.  Reporting to the Online Marketing Manager, this position is responsible for driving profitable company revenue and new customer acquisition through online partnerships and advertising.  Specifically, this position is focused on online (banner, textlink, video, radio, etc.) advertising and integrated online partnerships.

 

The successful candidate will be a self-starting, motivated marketer who will make a significant contribution to this growing Acquisition channel.  He or she will be comfortable in a goal-driven environment where he/she will be responsible for managing existing partners, sourcing new ones, and collaborating cross-functionally.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage key, strategic US Online partners to perform against company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including:  revenue, new customers, GM, CM, etc.
  • Develop new, high-quality & high-volume advertising and integrated partnerships that will be expected to have a significant impact on the growth of the overall channel
  • Set and implement testing strategy for all managed partners, including A/B and multivariate tests across offer, creative, pricing, and landing page
  • Optimize partner performance through analysis of customer touch-point and order data
  • Define offer and creative strategy for the channel, working closely with Creative and Acquisition channels to align on a consistent approach
  • Provide partner-level reporting for all managed partners on a regular basis
  • Traffic and QA ads to all managed partners
  • Own P&L for accounts managed including forecasting, goal setting, contracts, and invoicing
  • Work closely with the Creative and Cap Dev team to implement timely and successful campaigns

 

Requirements:

  • A BS in Marketing or a related field from a four-year college
  • 3 – 5 years of direct response online media planning, preferably with a direct client
  • Positive “can do” attitude
  • Highly motivated, goal-driven, and innovative individual who is not afraid to take risks with new partners, new offers, new creative elements, or new pieces of technology to support partners
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work well within a team and in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional analytical and optimization skills as demonstrated through previous experience (i.e. quantifiable results, pre and post optimization)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and to prioritize accordingly
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented and precise
