Online Operations Manager

Basic Responsibilities:
 
Responsible for on time execution and accuracy of all online content, art and site promotional programs. Manages the operations team to ensure all new site updates are implemented on schedule according to the plan and with accurate information and pricing.  Expert in online features and functions and online shopper behavior. Responsible for site QA, checking all pricing on the site products, promotions and landing pages. 


Specific Responsibilities:

* Responsible for managing the process to push all products to the website as well as all product landing pages.  Partner with pricing coordinator and ecommerce marketing team on upcoming promotions to ensure clarity on the site for customers and accurate tracking for sales and visitors.  Ensure that all product linking is correct. Execute daily QA on the site to insure accuracy and quality of content and offers.

* Executes the Online Planning Calendar for timely delivery of scheduled content and offers. Manages a QA program for all new or updated pages for accuracy and correct functioning of offers, promotions and landing pages.  Maintains a site-wide QA program for existing content so that it does not become out of date or stale.

* Our Operations Manager is our in-house expert in WAM / WVM. He/she knows all aspects of the web site administrative system and trains the operations staff for optimization of the production process. Responsible for the development and launch of new landing pages and special area pages. Participates in creation and/or launch of new site features. He/she routinely reviews all the other CS sites to see "best practices" in implementation with the company tools available to LB.

* Work with the merchandising team to assure satisfactory representation of all products online including comprehensive information, appropriate photos, related products on each product page, inclusion in appropriate categories and timely price changes as appropriate. Develops and executes a plan for routine reviews of products with merchants.

* Oversee the execution of product color treatment of products through Scene7 or other appropriate vendor. Manage escalations of issues - i.e. missing or incorrect recolors, deleting of images in increase server space, etc.

* Review daily online analytics for visitor behavior online. Review high abandonment pages and create a strategy for each one to create stickiness. Create strategies and plans to enhance the online shopping experience for the LB and Cacique sites.  Works on usability and customer satisfaction programs to identify issues and impact customer experience in a positive way.

* Trains all operations team members in tools, and production practices including QA processes.

* Works with online editorial staff to implement best practices for SEO including tagging for product appearance within search engines.  Routinely reviews search engine positions for top products and categories within search engines.

* Responsible for accurate deployment and management of all within site promotions, pricing for tracking purposes and for customer offer experience.

* Responsible as the team lead in new feature or site development on an ongoing basis. Participates in usability testing, site survey preparation and analysis and other related work efforts.

* Owns the Mercado implementation within the LB site. Create a detailed plan for within site search optimization which includes routine checks of top searches, products delivered within search results, and no results searches. Plans and implements product recommendations to enhance and increase the cross sell process within the site.

* Creates PSRs for site changes or fixes and monitors progress on work associated with PSR status.

* Deliverables: (1) Present week report to Internet team on new product launches, landing page launches and areas of interest in online planning and trends.  (2) Reports on SEO completion and status within search engines of our product copy.  (3) Has a written plan for content review and optimization.  (4) Presents weekly reports on top and worst performing search pages with recommendations for improvement.



Job Requirements:

Experience:

* 5+ years of online production management.
* 5+ years of project management including project documentation, planning and QA process.
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely plans and requirements to a variety of teams.
* 5+ years experience in retail, preferably apparel. 
* Photoshop, Dreamweaver, HTML and other web site tool production skills are a plus.
* Ability to coordinate multiple work efforts and work well with many teams at one time.
* 3+ years working with Omniture utilizing site performance analysis.  Excellent analytical and Excel skills.
* Strong written communication skills to support team documentation and Planning Calendars.
