Operational Excellence Leader

Job Summary

Operational Excellence Leader for SPX Cooling Technologies, Inc. in Overland Park, KS.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the development of a continuous process improvement culture and business process standardization within a Business Unit. This position will train functional business leads in using the tools of Lean and Six Sigma methodology in order to lead value stream teams, thus delivering project cost, quality, and on time delivery objectives established by the relevant business leader. This position will interface with key Global Business Unit functional leads in identifying project opportunities and the planning, designing accomplishing of key projects along with development of appropriate metrics to measure and communicate progress. Management duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business with a concentration in Finance, Statistics, or Accounting. Applicant must have 3 years experience as a Business/Continuous Improvement Consultant or Analyst or related field. The position also requires experience applying statistical analysis techniques to product and process improvement projects, including one of the following: process capability analysis, simulation, capacity analysis, or process optimization; experience with remote management of process improvements initiatives; demonstrated experience applying lean transactional/administrative principles, including migrating business processes to an office-based ERP environment; demonstrated record of successfully developing and proposing business models for continuous improvement processes; and experience with value stream mapping, lean layout optimization, and master scheduling. Experience can be acquired concurrently.
