LEAN OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE ROLE FOR HIGH-GROWTH MANUFACTURING COMPANY
Our central North Carolina client is realizing significant growth as the demand for its products sky-rockets. We are searching for an Operational Excellence Project Manager to lead the lean / Six Sigma initiatives regarding continuous improvement, materials flow and through-put enhancement.
This is an immediate contract to perm opportunity, with the expectation that it will be a permanent role in early 2010. Our client offers significant professional growth and advancement opportunities, and an excellent market-leading compensation package.
To be considered for this role, you should have all of the following background and skill sets:
- cGMP experience
- Minimum of a Six Sigma green belt
- Leadership of several significant projects in a continuous improvement environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to influence others who do not directly report to you
- An understanding of the entire supply chain, manufacturing and materials flow
- Experience with liquid/gel batch processing and fill and pack line manufacturing
- BS in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical) with a minimum of 4-7 years of experience in chemical, assembly and/or packaging
- Well-developed analytical skills
