Operational Risk Manager

A Major hedge Fund Administration firm is seeking an Operational Risk Senior Manager. This individual is directly responsible for the day to day oversight of Operational Risk including 2 team members, ensuring that NY Fund Services meets and maintains a high level of risk management. Their main responsibilities are as follows:

•Direct management of Operational Risk team members including providing leadership, technical support in analyzing and resolving issues,  scheduling and monitoring workloads to ensure all deadlines are met;  actively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and controls within the team

•Development of team members including appraising employee performance and assessing training requirements

•Serve as a liaison between the Operational Risk team and the rest of the Fund Services teams ensuring that all deadlines and Operational Risk requirements are met and adhered to

•Serve as liaison with other global operational risk teams

•Manage internal and external audits including the SAS 70 audit, and ensure Group standards are applied consistently

The successful candidate must possess 10+ years of related experience, Knowledge of compliance regulations including Operational Risk Framework and accounting standards is a plus
