Job Description
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the preparation of Capital Spending Budgets.
- Tracks plant cost savings/capital savings
- Capital Spending post completion audits.
- Assist the Divisional Operations Controller/BFG Plant Controllers as needed on special projects.
- Supports BFG manufacturing plants on Financial Accounting issues.
- Consolidates plant monthly analysis/reports.
- Support divisional analysis of monthly reports.
- Supports ABM issues at plants.
- Reviews new product costs for plants.
- Assists with preparation of plant annual operating budgets.
- Assists plants with month end close, as needed.
- Supports plants finance needs on site, as needed.
- Review/consolidate plant balance sheet reconciliations.
- This is a Divisional position with no direct reports.
- Supports $650-700 MM business.
WORKING RELATIONSHIP: - Divisional Staff – Finance, Marketing, Packaging, Purchasing, Engineering, Logistics, R&D Plant Accounting Groups
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - Periodic lifting of up to 25 lbs
- Pushing and pulling on occasion.
- Must be able to work frequently on a PC.
- Requires frequent typing and the ability to view the monitor a great deal of time.
- Frequent sitting.

Job Qualifications
Education: Experience (Years/Type): - Good analytical and communication skills.
- 5 + years experience in manufacturing/cost accounting environment.
- Plant Controller experience a plus.
- JDE experience and Activity Based Costing experience, preferred.
