Operations Coordinator, Logist...
The Operations Coordinator performs duties to support daily operational processes. This includes, but is not limited to the following duties, monitoring daily transactions between systems, monitoring inventory levels, and coordination of order fulfillment with the warehouse team. In addition, responsibilities will include assisting with inventory allocation, sales orders processing, item setup and maintenance, and vendor compliance tasks.
This position will work closely with Inventory, Sales, Production, and Accounting team members within the organization and monitors daily activities and transactions through reporting analysis, error alerts, and review of system flow in the operation.
Review daily reports and exception notices to make sure transactions between systems are running properly, and then take immediate action to resolve issues found. This includes monitoring transactional information from the warehouse, EDI provider, and the company’s ERP system. Ensure that Ecommerce and EDI inventory file transmissions are properly uploaded.
Must be familiar with the logistics operation to report on fulfillment and physical inventory issues. The job requires a proactive approach to minimize system discrepancies that may occur later.
Ensure shipped orders update properly in the system. Deal with processes, setup, data/input error, and other issues as they arise. Watch for missing transaction files, then take action to resolve issues. Monitor inventory data, transfer requests, and work orders for production. Assist with international logistics as needed.
Document Filing and System Updates
Track and file reports, documents, and communications to make sure systems are up to date.
Work Projects As Needed
In order to enhance our business processes, special projects may be assigned.
Daily use of the following software requires a comfort with systems and ability to learn quickly:
Microsoft Office (strong Excel skills a must), Netsuite ERP system, 3rd party vendor systems, and others as needed.
