Operations Manager / District Sales Manager -- NY Metro Area!

About the Job

National franchising company is now hiring Operations Managers in the New York Metro area to join our team!   Operations Managers are responsible for supporting the overall activities of each Center Director within a designated region.  These positions are based out of a home office as well as in the company’s corporate headquarters located in Northeast New Jersey.  This opportunity requires a proven leader who has the ability to impact professional performance.  A strong business acumen and solid operational performance will help drive success in your territory. 

 


Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to the following):




  • Drive region revenue and profitability


  • Develop and manage quarterly, monthly and weekly action plans


  • Conduct daily site visits, review business plans, and make frequent calls to staff


  • Provide ongoing feedback and follow-up to staff to improve performance in meeting goals


  • Conduct supplementary training as necessary


  • Coordinate, manage and review marketing plans with Center Directors


  • Maintain a high level of staff morale and minimize staff turnover


Job Requirements (Including, but not limited to):



  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Management or related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in business management.
  • Experience in multi-unit management (franchise owned units a plus!).
  • Ability to effectively drive sales in a multi-unit environment
  • Superior time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Strong initiative and leadership skills – “get it done yesterday” sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good problem solving-skills and desire to support and explain company values.
  • Direct communication and effective organization/follow up skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, but also on an independent basis.
  • Willingness to set and maintain high standards of performance.


Compensation:


Operations Managers are compensated with a competitive base salary, commission plan, and comprehensive benefits package.
