Established, growing, Fortune 100, innovative HVAC/building automation controls, commercial fire alarm and integrated security systems industry leader withover 100 offices nationwide is seeking an Operations Manager for their Minneapolis, Minnesota area branch.

The Operations Manager will oversee approximately 12 direct reports who are running the commercial HVAC/Controls installation projects.  This individual must be a business leader in controls who can drive the organization and group.  Responsibilities include managing the tactical activities on all installation projects; conduct financial analysis including forecasting (P&L responsibilities), hiring/firing, ensuring policies and procedures are followed, estimating, monitoring, and recovery planning; collaborate with sales employees to create effective plans and programs for the local market; review sales estimates, monitor sales, provide coaching, mentoring and motivation to employees.  In addition, the Operations Manager will staff the projects, execute the projects and work with the local mechanical and general contractors.  This individual must have strong experience in project management.  Excellent listening, negotiation, planning, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills required.  Successful candidates must have current experience in the HVAC/Building Automation industry.
