Operations Manager
About the Job
We are seeking an Operations Manager for full service investment advisory firm near downtown Dallas. The Operational Manager is responsible for leading the team in all operational and administrative issues. The qualified will have Series 7 and 63. Needs experience on the NFS and Pershing platforms. Duties
· Manages and directs overall team activities and monitors progress
· Recommends and implements enhancements to improve effectiveness and efficiency of services and systems
· Manages resources and operating expenses
· May facilitate client delivery relationships
· May present business updates to managers
Requirements
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university/college is preferred
- At least 7 years of prior experience in the securities industry in which 5 years were in investment advisory experience
- Experience in operations department
- NFS Clearing experience is a PLUS
- Must have 3 years of supervisor experience
- Needs to have at least strong MS Office experience
- Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Must have current Series 7, 63 and 65/66 NASD licenses
- needs experience on the NFS and Pershing platforms
