Job Description

This is an ideal position for an experienced wind turbine professional who seeks operational responsibility executing long term contracts for operations and maintenance, contract services and component change-outs of wind turbines. The successful candidate will manage and supervise contract leads, dispatch, train, and guide wind technicians and wind maintenance crews in the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and component replacement of a variety of OEM Wind turbines. Additionally, the position will require establishing a robust training, safety, dispatch, recruiting and management program for the North American region. Candidate will develop relationships with key clients and will assist the Business Development and Sales team to originate and close term operations and maintenance contracts. The candidate will possess expert knowledge of wind turbines, an understanding of how to establish and build client relationships, and an ability to lead, train, and manage people. The position requires a strong desire to grow business in a fast growing industry.

Qualifications Required:

* 5+ Years wind service experience
* Management / Leadership experience directing a maintenance crew
* Understanding of complex operations contracts
* Understanding of financial cost drivers and manage budgets
* Management experience in field operations with P&L Responsibilities and direct reports
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, procedures, and regulations; to write reports
* Knowledge of EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety)
* Prior experience in business development, Operations and Maintenance, or contract bidding a plus



Responsibilities:

Direct, manage and supervise contract managers for wind farms, keeping quality and customer satisfaction, and safety as number one priority while focusing on profitability.

Develop relationships with customers to include site managers and developers in order to grow the P&L.

Responsible and timely financial reporting

Continuous improvements in the field to meet expectations and reduce costs

Perform a variety of tasks and other related duties as requested

Interact with project teams, management and trades people to provide technical interpretation and solve problems
