Job Summary:
The position has responsibility for the daily management of the Sportswire manufacturing and distribution operations. The position directly manages the daily production and distribution activities at the site to ensure production and customer delivery expectation are met. The position ensures that products are made to specifications and that production processes are maintained and controlled. The management responsibility includes managing the financial performance of the business through revenue, expense, and capital monitoring control and appropriation to forecast.
Job Responsibilities:
· Directly manages/supervises the daily activities of approximately 15 production, maintenance and office staff, including; daily scheduling, daily task assignment, time and attendance monitoring/control.
· Analyzes manufacturing and distribution operations to ensure expense control, effective equipment and workforce utilization, and continuous improvement to site cost base.
· Develops and assures production schedules are met to meet customer delivery dates and within budgetary expense allocations.
· Under the direction of the Director of Operations, regularly reviews the procurement function to ensure expense are held consistent with operational needs and within budget constraints.
· Ensures the process parameters are documented and controlled per specifications and/or validation requirements.
· Ensures that production equipment is regularly maintained per the preventive maintenance program/schedule.
· Facilitates the calibration of identified measuring and test equipment at prescribed intervals.
· Responsible for on site inventory management including physical inventories and inventory transaction integrity.
· Reviews monthly financials and expenses with the Senior Financial Analyst and Director of Operations for any anomalies and works in conjunctions to correct and provide accurate reporting.
· Responsible for reviewing and approving operational expense purchase orders and P-Card transaction.
· Ensures that the facility remains in good standing with all regulatory bodies and conducts business in an appropriate ethical manner.
· Ensures all policies, procedures, practices and operational standards are effectively communicated to the entire operations team.
· Under the direction of the Director of Operations and with the support of Tulsa Human resources, regularly assess employee performance against standard policies and procedures, and standards of work (performance related discussion with employees will include representation and/or approval from HR prior to the discussions).
· Performs other duties as required.

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business.
· 4-5 years of manufacturing environment with 2-3 years of supervisory experience
· Lean Management experience
· Kaizen experience
· CPIM Certification
