JOB DESCRIPTION: Manage the day to day operations of the company to ensure maximum service levels and profitability utilizing technology and other cost effective methods. Manage current account business by providing direction on daily activity to customer and FAC associates. Bill and dispatch loads with oversight on all account activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Manage daily activities of operational issues and questions
· Maintain premium service levels using cost effective methods
· Prepare & review weekly P&L reports
· Communicate & work closely with Carrier Development Managers and Supervisors
· Communicate & work closely with Business Development & Customer Service
· Evaluate & assist in training of all associates
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
§ Proficient skills with Excel, Word and Outlook
§ Detail oriented
§ Strong organization and planning skills
§ Excellent telephone & communication skills
§ Ability to work with different levels of management, vendors, and customers
§ Skilled in employee/customer negotiations
§ Excellent decision making skills
4 yr degree and/or 5 yrs prior experience in trans or logistics
