The Operations Manager enhances the structure efficiency allowing the store manager to perform all the activities related to sales finalization and customer service. Back office management includes addressing inventory issues, specifically shrinkage management, through the daily count process.
· To open and close store and safe along with the team, according to security procedures.
· To act in cooperation with the Store Manager in order to achieve the best efficiency and profitability of the windows display/stock rotation.
· To verify the availability of products requested in the store and act in order to satisfy urgent needs from the customers.
· To conduct multiple daily inventory counts.
· To reconcile daily sales activity and prepare reports for Store Manager review/approval and submission to corporate entities.
· To work with Accounting and Logistics in support of daily sales activity.
· To maintain store equipment.
· To give to the Logistic Centre notice of any product needs and any incongruent shipments.
· To ensure day-to-day management of the relationships with local suppliers
· To manage the Shipping Department activities within the guideline of the company.
